2021

Saturday, September 4, 9 am - 3 pm
3rd Annual Edwardsville Book Festival, City Park, downtown Edwardsville, IL
A return this year to the live, in-person (virtual in 2020) very fun Edwardsville book and author event sponsored by the Edwardsville Public Library and the Edwardsville Park District! And a special perk for me this year -- look for me under the retro striped awning attached to the "Route 66 Chick" van! Yes, at this year's event my van/awning set-up will serve as my booth space! I'll be located on Park Street (along with the food vendors -- yum!) just behind City Park. (Stormtrooper not guaranteed to be in attendance!)

Presentations available for booking:

Route 66 in Illinois - A brief overview of the origins of the famous highway kicks off this fun, informal program. Then, with slides and anecdotes, Jett takes the audience along on a virtual tour of the Illinois stretch of Route 66, including many familiar landmarks along the route.
